    Overview – Menu Management

    Menu management in Vendion is organized in three levels: categories → items → modifier groups. Access it via Settings → Menu in admin.

    Three tabs:

    TabContent
    ProductsAll menu items – create, edit, delete
    Menu (categories)Main categories and subcategories – organize your menu
    Modifier groupsModifiers like "Choose sauce", "Extras" – linked to items

    The hierarchy:

    1. Categories – e.g. Food, Drinks, Dessert
    2. Subcategories – e.g. Starters, Mains, Salads (under Food)
    3. Items – e.g. Caesar Salad, Pasta Carbonara
    4. Modifier groups – e.g. "Choose sauce" with options Béarnaise, Pepper sauce

    How the menu appears in the POS:

    • Categories are shown as tabs at the top
    • Items are shown as cards in the grid
    • Modifiers and variants appear as a dialog when clicking an item

    Tip: Start by creating your categories, then items, and finally modifier groups. This makes it easier to link everything together.
