    Allergens on Menu Items

    Vendion supports the 14 EU allergens. You select allergens per item under Settings → Menu → Products.

    The 14 allergens:

    1. Gluten
    2. Crustaceans
    3. Eggs
    4. Fish
    5. Peanuts
    6. Soy
    7. Milk
    8. Tree nuts
    9. Celery
    10. Mustard
    11. Sesame
    12. Sulphur dioxide/sulphites
    13. Lupin
    14. Molluscs

    How to add allergens:

    1. Open the item under Products
    2. Scroll to the Allergens section
    3. Check the allergens the item contains
    4. Click Save

    Where allergens are displayed:

    LocationHow

    Guest ordering (QR)Automatically under the item name
    Booking detailsIf the guest has specified allergies, they're matched against the menu
    AI WaiterThe AI warns about allergen matches

    Tips:

    • Be thorough – allergen information can be life-critical
    • Update immediately if a recipe changes
    • AI Boss can help you verify that all items have the correct allergens marked
