    Manage Allergens & Special Requests

    The booking system collects and displays allergens and special requests clearly for the staff.

    Where it's shown:

    • In the booking detail panel (POS and admin)
    • Each allergen is shown with a label and icon
    • Special requests are shown as free text below the booking details

    Allergens the guest can specify: The system has a list of common allergens the guest can select when booking (e.g. gluten-free, lactose-free, nuts, shellfish).

    As staff:

    1. Open the booking in the POS
    2. Allergens are shown with clear labels in the detail panel
    3. Special requests are shown as text (e.g. "High chair needed", "Window table preferred")

    For manual bookings (admin):

    • Allergens can be selected in step 2 of the booking form
    • Special requests can be entered in step 3

    Tip: Always check allergens and special requests before the guest sits down – it makes a professional impression and prevents issues.
