Set Seating Duration by Party Size

Different party sizes need different amounts of time at the table. You can create rules that automatically adjust the seating duration.

Create a seating duration rule:

1. Go to Reservations → Settings → Shifts & Times
2. Under Seating Duration Rules, click Add rule
3. Enter:
   • Min guests – e.g. 1
   • Max guests – e.g. 2
   • Seating duration – e.g. 90 minutes
   • Shift (optional) – applies to a specific shift, or all
4. Save

Recommended seating durations:

How it works: When a booking is created, the system looks for a matching seating duration rule. If none is found, the default seating duration from settings is used.
